Welcome to our website. We are pleased about your interest in our company. Please note our privacy policy on the use of all websites operated by Mountainbike Tourismusforum Deutschland e. V.

You are welcome to use our website without providing any personal data. The processing of your personal data may be necessary for certain services. There is usually a legal basis for this. If this is not the case, we will obtain your consent separately.

With this privacy policy we clarify the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data. The personal data include e.g. your name, your address, your e-mail address, your date of birth. It is therefore all the data that can be assigned to a specific or identifiable person ("data subject").

1. Who collects, processes and uses your data?

2. What Data is collected, processed and used?

a) When visiting the website

When you visit our website, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to our website server. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is recorded without your intervention and stored until it is automatically deleted:

• Name of retrieved file
• Date and time of retrieval
• amount of data transferred
• Message whether the retrieval was successful
• Description of the type of web browser used

• Internet provider
• your IP address

The data mentioned are processed by us for the following purposes:

• Ensuring comfortable use of our website,

The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 Para.1 lit.f GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the data collection purposes listed above. Under no circumstances do we use the collected data for the purpose of identifying individual users or drawing conclusions about your person. The data is not merged with other data sources.

In addition, we use cookies and analysis services when you visit our website. You can find more detailed explanations in Sections 4 and 5 of this privacy policy.

b) When registering for our newsletter

If we offer a newsletter on our website and you have expressly consented in accordance with Art. 6 Para.1 lit.a GDPR, we will use your e-mail address to send you our newsletter on a regular basis. To receive the newsletter, personal contact data (e-mail address, name and interests as well as other optional information about the organization, position, industry) are stored and processed.

You can unsubscribe at any time, e.g. via a link at the end of each newsletter. Alternatively, you can send us your unsubscribe request at any time by e-mail or inform us of your request via the other contact methods mentioned above under No. 1.

Personal data that is not subject to tax or commercial law retention requirements will be deleted immediately after the purpose no longer applies - unless you have expressly consented to the further use of your data.

c) If you contact us personally

If you contact us of your own accord, the personal data you provide voluntarily (e.g. name, e-mail address) will be collected and transmitted to us. This is the case, for example, when you use a contact form on our website or send us an email. In order to use the contact form, you must provide a valid e-mail address so that we know who sent the request and can answer it. Further information can be provided voluntarily.

Your personal data will only be used to contact you or for the purpose for which you provided us with this data, e.g. for processing your inquiries, technical administration of the website and customer management.

Insofar as this concerns information on communication channels (e.g. e-mail address, telephone number), you agree that we may also contact you via this communication channel in order to answer your request.

The personal data collected by us for the use of the contact form will be automatically deleted after your request has been dealt with.

d) At Events

We are organizers or co-organizers of various events. For the purpose of holding such events, personal data (name, organization, address, e-mail address, telephone number) will be requested and stored and processed in accordance with point c). Only the data that is required for the desired service and in the event that follow-up questions arise (legal basis: Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a) GDPR) is recorded. You are free to decide whether you enter and send this data.

The personal data will not be passed on to third parties without authorization, but will be stored and processed confidentially for internal use for the purpose of organizing and processing events. Personal data that is not subject to tax or commercial law retention requirements will be deleted immediately after the purpose no longer applies - unless you have expressly consented to the further use of your data.

Ticketing

When booking our services and events, additional personal data is collected, processed and used to the extent that this is necessary for you to process the order and use the services or you have provided the information voluntarily in accordance with Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR . This includes (professional) contact and organizational data, bank data (IBAN, BIC, credit card number), booking requests, contract data and possibly sensitive personal data (health data). Payment is possible by purchase on account (transfer) or PayPal.

Once the contract has been fully processed, your data will be blocked for further use and deleted after the expiry of the tax and commercial law regulations - unless you have expressly consented to the further use of your data.

Records and Recording

Recordings and recordings (media support) are made as part of our events. Names, photo, audio, video and/or text recordings are processed, made available to the participants and stored. Names can also be seen and heard on these and/or chat messages can be read in digital formats. In this case, participants are free to change the settings on their own device (change name, switch off video and audio) to counteract this.

Recordings for which consent has been given in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a) GDPR can be distributed and published by the organizer without entitlement to remuneration. The recordings are used primarily for event documentation and reporting (including social media) and, if necessary, excerpts are published. We would like to point out that recordings can be accessed worldwide when published on the Internet or in social networks. Further use and/or modification by third parties cannot be ruled out.

You can object to the publication at any time (also retrospectively). Please use the above contact details for your objection. Saved recordings on which you are recognizable and which essentially show you (in image or sound) will then - as far as technically possible - be deleted immediately.

e) When conducting a survery

Participation in the survey is voluntary, as is answering individual questions. All information will be treated confidentially.

When answering the questions of our survey, no personal data is collected that goes beyond the information you have provided yourself. If it is possible to draw conclusions about the person of the participant through the choice or formulation of the answers, the data will be processed to protect our legitimate interests in accordance with Article 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. The survey serves the respective research project. This is to be seen as legitimate interests within the meaning of the aforementioned provision.

At the end of the survey, you can voluntarily provide your email address. Your email address will not be merged with the survey data and will be stored separately from your responses. Your e-mail address will be processed on the basis of Article 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

We store the questions and answers of the survey. In addition, the results are presented, evauated and analyzed by employees of the Mountainbike Tourismusforum Deutschland e. V.

Your answers will be anonymized or deleted once we have completed the project. Unless there are reasons that justify longer storage (e.g. if you have given your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a GDPR).

The documentation and any publication of the survey results is carried out exclusively in an anonymous form, without naming you and without providing any information that allows conclusions to be drawn about your person.

3. In which case do we pass on data?

We only pass on your personal data to third parties if:

• you have given your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para.1 lit.a GDPR,
• this is permitted by law and required according to Art. 6 Para.1 lit.b GDPR for the processing of contractual relationships (e.g. by external service providers or partner companies) with you,
• the disclosure is necessary in accordance with Art.6 Para.1 lit.f GDPR and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in the non-disclosure of your data, as well as
• in the case where there is a legal obligation for the transfer according to Art. 6 Para.1 lit.c GDPR.

Otherwise, your personal data will not be transmitted to third parties.

4. What do we use cookies for?

Depending on the range of functions, we use so-called cookies in some areas of our website. Such file elements can be used to identify your computer as a technical unit during your visit to this website in order to make it easier for you to use our offer - even on repeat visits.

5. What tools do we use to analyze website visits?

To analyze how our website is used, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. We base the use of the aforementioned analysis tool on Art. 6 Para. 1 Letter f) GDPR to safeguard our legitimate interests.

Google Analytics also uses so-called cookies, text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

If IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide us with other services related to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; we would like to point out to you however that in this case you will if applicable not be able to use all functions of this website in full. 6. Social Plugins

We use social plugins from the social network Facebook on our website on the basis of Art. 6 Para.1 lit.f GDPR. The underlying advertising purpose is to be regarded as a legitimate interest within the meaning of the GDPR. We integrate these plugins using the so-called two-click method in order to protect visitors to our website in the best possible way.

Social media plugins from Facebook are used on our website to make their use more personal. For this we use the "LIKE" or "SHARE" button. This is an offer from Facebook.

If you access a page on our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly from Facebook to your browser, which integrates it into the website.

b. Right to rectification/erasure/restriction of processing

• Inaccurate personal data concerning you will be corrected immediately (right to correction);
• Personal data concerning you will be deleted immediately (right to deletion) and
• the processing is restricted (right to restriction of processing).

c. Right to data portability

You have the right to receive personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format and to transmit this data to another person responsible.

d. Right of Withdrawel

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The revocation of the consent does not affect the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent up to the point of revocation.

e. Right to Objection
